NCDDD President, Erik Williamson (OH), sent a letter to SSA Chief of Staff, Stacy Rodgers, on July 9, 2015 requesting action and answers regarding DDS employee protections for the OPM Cyber breach. The recent data breach did impact DDS employees who have completed HSPD-12 credentialing. The Chief of Staff was quick to respond with answers the following day. DDS employees will be extended the same protections as federal employees (ex. Credit monitoring, identity theft protection.)
